Site Control Surveys

Good Line Of Holding Down Bolts
Holding down bolts require accurate site control points to achieve a good line.

Every construction site will need a grid of accurate control points and this is achieved with a site control survey.  The type of grid of control points will depend upon the type of construction being undertaken.  Everything that is constructed needs to be fixed to a common reference point or points to ensure that the whole project fits together.

Your construction site might have numerous control points already established.  These control points may be good quality and have been accurately surveyed, but are you sure?  We can help, by checking your existing control before any costly mistakes are made by using site control that might not be accurate.

Are your site control points in good positions, with good sight between them?  Are there enough control points to carry out the construction works and are these control points in suitable positions?  A site engineer will struggle to maintain accuracy if the control points they are using are not spread out in a useful pattern to give a robust resection.  There must be good geometry in the control point network.  This is something that we can help you with.

If you have any doubts about your site control network then contact us and we will be happy to discuss your requirements.
